How does it work?
When a call goes unanswered, Lumatic's automation texts the caller and asks what they need. The text is sent from a dedicated Lumatic business texting number set up for you, and it names your business. You get the details.
Can I change my texts?
Yes. Edit your texts anytime, or we'll do it for you. You approve the wording before anything goes live.
Will customers know it's automated?
Yes. Every text names your business, says it's automated, and includes "Reply STOP to opt out."
What if someone texts STOP?
They're opted out right away and get no more messages.
Do I keep my phone number?
Yes, you keep your number and your phone still rings first. Your carrier's "forward when unanswered" setting sends missed calls to a dedicated local number we set up for you. Texts to your callers are sent from that Lumatic business texting number and name your business. We walk you through the setup. You can switch forwarding off anytime.
How long does setup take?
Setup usually takes 1 to 3 weeks, and we email you your date. It depends on carrier approval, so we can't promise a date. We register your texting, write and test your messages, you approve them, then we turn on forwarding with you.
When does my first month start?
You pay when you sign up. Your first month, your next bill and your 30-day money-back window all start on the day texting goes live for your business, and we email you that date. If texting never goes live, or you cancel before it does, you get a full refund. Go-live depends on carrier approval, so we can't promise a date.
Lite, Starter or Pro?
Every plan includes unlimited texts (fair use). Lite is self-serve: missed-call text-back, after-hours replies and the weekly report. Starter covers text-back, after-hours replies, review requests, the weekly report and the lead list. Pro adds lead follow-up, appointment reminders and win-back texts.
Is there a long-term contract?
No. Plans are month-to-month, and a cancellation takes effect at the end of your paid month. If you cancel within 3 months of texting going live, we may bill the one-time carrier texting-registration fees we paid for you, at cost. See the Terms.
How does money-back on your first month's fee work?
Not happy? Email hello@trylumatic.com within 30 days of texting going live and we'll refund your first month's fee ($49 Lite, $69 Starter or $89 Pro). This refunds the fee. It does not promise results.
Can you promise more jobs?
No. We can't promise results. We make sure fewer calls and leads go unanswered.
Is it worth the price?
Think of your average job. If it's worth more than $49, one saved job covers a month of Lite ($69 for Starter, $89 for Pro). We can't promise a saved job, but you know what a missed call costs you.
